Thanks for the pics and diagram!

Do steps need to be taken to filter the air ventilated through the control box? Does metal dust collect in there? Anyone ever had a problem with the dust?

I have to ask because for the time being I don't intend to use a water or down draft table... Eventually we'll probably do down draft.

I have covers on both of my control box fans, www.jaycar.com.au/120mm-plastic-fan-guard-filter-kit/p/YX2554

Not much dirt gets inside the control box but my control box sits inside a filtered control cabinet.

I wonder, why is there a water/air hose going to the control cabinet ?

I've got a quick control panel question. Maybe this belongs in a new, separate thread? ... I just splurged and picked up a big ol' metal nema box to mount my electronics in. It just came in and I poked around with the multimeter. I noticed that the galvanized tray, or mounting plate, does not have continuity with the rest of the metal box. From the factory there is a thin rubber washer and coat of paint that separates the plate's hardware from the box. I would have assumed that I need to ground the metal mounting plate along with the rest of the box. Thoughts?

I have just finished wiring my new closed loop stepper drives into my control box and added Rods hyper-sensing circuit.
I have attached a updated wiring diagram to this post for anyone that might find it useful.

Hello, I am new to linux cnc and I have been looking in the forum that thefabricator03 has built a plasma coming from Candcnc products and I am in the same situation. I have a Candcnc system with DC servo motors and Gecko 320X drivers and would like to be able to use them for my new machine. Is there a problem using these products? Thank you

The Gecko 320X is quite nonstandard with its error handling.. I found the thread for you.

You may be better odd replacing the Gecko drives.. But a solution might also be available as I'm sure others have used them..
