@andy i seen a thread where you give suggest to photos.app.goo.gl/cFtC9m7CeLSKASAa7 as pwm potentiometer which quite interesting but could you suggest voltage value for 1uf capacitor and watt value for 1k resistor

At least 10V for the cap (I would use a 30V I think) and the power through the resistor can't be more than V^2/R = 0.1W.
Looking at a random VFD online, that has an input impedance of 30k, so the current through the 1k resistor is a max of 30uA and a power dissipation (I^2 x R) in the 1k resistor of 0.0001W.

You want a sensible RC time constant. (Just multiply the capacitance and resistance together (remembering the prefixes) and the answer is the response time in seconds.

Ohw sorry It was typing mistake what i mean is 1k 1/4 watt resistor (not 10k 1/4 watt) would good to go ?
I had ordered acpl-p480 would take about 3 week (as not available in Indian retail market)
