Such Panels can be integrated in axis and gmoccapy using GladeVCP .

It is missing a mess of coolant stains, dried up oil and swarf. Ever CNC has that.

Hi,

this hole is normal. they have used the same steelcast for many versions, on manual or machines with only on axis motor or additional Handwheels there have been bearings and gears mounted.
If you look through this hole, you should see the Y axis Ballscrew.

Pay attention to the oil levels, theses are for the transmission and the spindle bearings.

Do you own an maintance manual?

Have you seen the IC Haus Chips for converting 11 micro amp analog to digital ? Just put a Heidenhain 600 EXE series PDF on Marks - Maho thread - might be of some use for what they sold . Interesting you are thinking of making your own converters - could you describe more of what you are trying to come up with ? Do you make your own circuit boards ?
Gear change ---- There was a web site ( Westleys project ? ) where he was converting DECKEL to newer control , which had his matrix for gear changing . But I can't find it any more . I will keep looking though .
If you write the code for gear change could you consider making it configurable for 1 - 2 - 3 gear shifting motors ?

Mr Speaky --- Thank You for for all of the Phots and your continued progress reports !
Bob
