And a video when lcnc is doing a gcode with plasma tool : video

I hope someone can test out the python widget some day.

@Grotius
Good morning Mr. G ...
I'm still working to get the Widget running because I'm on Debian10 with Qt 5.12.4 but still an other request . Or an old one .
How about the bool operation with two solids. And in the DRO showing the total volume cut and the speed of volume cut in mm3 / sec .
The tool ( volume one ) is coming from lcnc, the second volume selected from a parameter/data sheet. Both from step-files .

Best rgds. udo

Hi,

originally I had assumed that we could work together. But when grotius scrapped his project, I realized that I was on my own.
That's why it took a while. After all, I had to learn Qt and Opencascade first.
But now I'm to the point where I can say I have the same functionality in Opencascade than with Qt.
This is what it looks like when the dro are combined with a viewer:

Of cause, colors and fonts can be changed as desired.

If there is interest in this, I could still round it out.

Yes, I'm all with you only I expected that much. Grotius is on his own track, parallel but his own. Anyway, I'm still at it.

My target is still the same.
Can it import solids  and can it perform bool operations.

By the way. I'm writing the encoder feedback now into the HAL. That's where the emc.hh reads it from.

Hallo Reinhard
I think I'm ready to give it a try now.
Where could I get that app.

One thing: are you aware of that OCC Viewer ?

Best Regards. udo

Hi Grotius
I dearly need some help here. The testgui with the occ goes fine.
If I try to compile your nml_plugin it compiles BUT the testgui from the nml_plugin fails. Always.
Please have a look. What do I miss here.

best regards

Hi Grotius
is there a memory leak in the widget.
Building up some SHR usage you can see in HTOP and then crashing after a while.

See attached images.

Hi Udo,

I expect you have a nml issue somewhere. In my situation the widget was tested ok for several hours.

For this previous question :
If I try to compile your nml_plugin it compiles BUT the testgui from the nml_plugin fails. Always.

Qt is searching for a librs274... but can't find it. Solution is to link this lib into the qt .pro file. The lib can be found in
the linuxcnc path.
