More work on the Voron Legacy done, it has an AfterBurner hotend/extruder, not the original one.
Still waiting on some alu profiles for the frame, thought of cutting a Creality CR10MAX are crossing my mind often....

That looks like a real solid XY, are there plans for that somewhere or did you purchase it?

Oh how looks are deceiving, it is very small at 9.5X13CM only work envelope, so looks beefy!
Voron's are magnificent pieces of engineering and there are several versions to choose from:
Simple? = Voron Legacy
Top notch? = Voron 2.4
Middle with round rails? = Voron 1.6
Middle with linear rails? = Voron 1.8
Small and cute and bloody fast? = Voron 0 or 0.1 now.

The current state of the Voron Legacy build, starting to think i should have vent all in and do the 2.4, the waiting for parts is pretty much the same.
While waiting for those bloody alu profiles i did flash Klipper to an Arduino Mega, installed Klipper and klipper-screen on a RPI3B, added a very cheap 3 axis drive board with drivers set at /16, motors on XY/AB are Nema 17 0.9 degree ones so less torque but more resolution and driving 16 tooth pulleys.
BTW limit switches got mounted today in the only place i could fit them so that also required some programming to home Y first then X otherwise the X switch is never tripped!

Last few days took modifying an Ender 5 Plus to CoreXY, added Hero Me cooling, direct drive, V6 Volcano hotend with 0.4mm nozzle, changed motors to 0.9 degree ones, added a RPI 3B+ that was collecting dust in the shop, flashed Klipper with MainSailOS on PI, did some tuning and initial tests so now it lays the first layer happily at 120mm/s and the rest at 160mm/s, but it still have a lot of ringing mainly because i forgot to mount one side of the HeroMe so now it just hands to the left side of the mount ? .
Also the 310 gram heavy motor has to go but can not find ... well anything here !

Here is some of my progress messing around with my cr10v2, learning to 3D model things on my free time, beside education and work. One thing is for sure CAD is so powerful .
