It rained for over 30 hours and last evening that turned to snow, made a mess cutting power cables that are still above ground. 20cm of it. We had over 2 meters of snow here, twice in my lifetime, so if it continues like this in a day or two we will be back to stone age ! :)

Maybe if you guys changed your usernames you'd like snow :)

We had about 40cm on the 15th, but it was nearly 15.5°C and rained steady all day Christmas Eve, so only the large piles of snow remain :(

We had about 40cm on the 15th, but it was nearly 15.5°C and rained steady all day Christmas Eve, so only the large piles of snow remain :(


I did not see snow until I turned 50 and went to New Zealand but we did get a proper look. Choppered up to checkout a glacier and landed after a fairly heavy fall the day before. It was not fine for long!
