Mach3 XML and Stepconfig issues.

The way I understood what you wanted, pin 6 should get the clockwise pulses and pin 7 should get the counter clockwise pulses. Is that not what you wanted?

If you want all the step pulses on 6 and toggle a direction bit on pin 7. it is as simple changing one parameter value and changing a couple of pin names.
Change these lines: to

will try this tomorrow. It seems clear now what does what.

Problem was xml import and also no way to set parameters in the Stepconfig, only CW and CCW.
This is a learning curve for me, also that English is not my native language so it gets misunderstood.

I´m sure other issues will emerge but I am eager to learn.

Now it is working so spindle rotates correctly.



How can this be adjusted? When manually controlling the VFD rpm´s are smooth.
But when switching over to LCNC control the spindle is pulsating.

Jogging issues. Lathe.

X axis moves correct with keyboard and -+ on screen but homing in wrong direction (assuming rear tools) and I use front tools.

Z axis moves opposite direction but homing is correct.

How to change this behavior?

How can I rescale the Axis screen as it appears to be bigger than 800x600 that is max resolution for my Elotouch 12" display?

Did it behave the same way when it was running with Mach3? (I'm guessing no.)

What does the hal scope plot of the pulse stream look like when it is doing that? (I kind of suspect it was doing it in the first photo you posted of the hal scope plot.)

Could you post the latest version your hal file again so we can see that and check the order of some things?

I may have once ran into something similar to this once before, but I'm not certain. I kind of doubt the causes are the same. If there isn't something obvious in the hal file, I might be stumped.
