				Sorry, but that's rather poor latency (max jitter)
As an experiment, try running the LinuxCNC live image in "Live" mode (ie, leave your hard drive and current installer untouched) to see what that kernel gives you for latency.
You could also try the RTAI kernel.

I think the latency test needs to be redone without the base thread. For a Mesa Ethernet card which is all this USFF PC can run, I think the servo thread latency is OK

I think the latency test needs to be redone without the base thread. For a Mesa Ethernet card which is all this USFF PC can run, I think the servo thread latency is OK
