Thats not for a Raspberry PI. But yes for a normal PC.
What PC are you using?

2.9.2 may not have the ethercat repositories installed. You may need to do this next

RODW!!!
I redid it again and it worked! It communicated... thank you very much for your help!

I concluded that I needed to install that package first... and then follow the step by step...

Now I'm going to look for how to configure this in Linux CNC since the communication exists now... is there a specific link for me to configure it? I believe I should be at the part where I configure the Linux CNC software now, right?

What is the correct order for ethercat to work correctly on the PI4, I have tried all the ways and I always get the error that the EtherCAT0 file does not exist in /dev/

hello, I just did this part:
1- www.linuxcnc.org/iso/rpi-4-debian-bookwo...23-11-17-1731.img.xz
2- forum.linuxcnc.org/ethercat/53785-instal...thercat-repositories and install,
3- forum.linuxcnc.org/ethercat/45336-etherc...-how-to-step-by-step ...

ethercat is installed but I haven't been able to communicate with the servo yet... that's what I'm doing now without any major processes.

I have been able to install ethercat on 3 PCs without any problems, but on a Pi4 it has not been possible, it always gives an error when running the ethercat master command. Has anyone had any success in doing so?
