Thanks tommy! I corrected config: sserial_port_0 = 20xxxx.

What should the hal file entry look like for the e-stop button to work? Currently no change status when I press the NC button (Lovato LPX C01)

net estop-out     <=  iocontrol.0.user-enable-out
net estop-out     =>  iocontrol.0.emc-enable-in
net estop-ext     <=  hm2_7i76e.0.7i76.0.0.analogin3

Ok, it's works when I change to hm2_7i76e.0.7i76.0.0.input-03.

E-stop is a digital signal, so no need to use analogue inputs for that.
Sorry if i missed that the first round, i was on the phone.
This is the only thing i add to my configs for simple e-stop control
# --- ESTOP-EXT ---
net estop-ext <= hm2_7i92.0.7i70.1.5.input-23-not
For more complicated things i use e-stop latch

Seems like you are pinging the PC not the Mesa board.
The PC address should be set to something like 10.10.10.100, not 10.10.10.10.

when i send a ping to the mesa card the led's react so i think i reach the mesa card
also when i send the command "sudo mesaflach --device 7i76e addr 10.10.10.10 --readhmid" the led's of the mesa are blinking for a while but got the replay "no 7i76e board found"
can it be a good idea to reinstall with the version 2.8 ?

Ok the address is good, but the Linux version is not for use with Mesa ethernet boards.
Use this
www.linuxcnc.org/iso/linuxcnc-2.8.0-buster.iso
