Try the first method I suggested to you, folk are using it and it does work. You do need to have shielded consumables.
If you want to use a THCAD for ohmic sensing you will need to do a bit of hal file editing to connect the THCAD to the encoder and the encoder to PlasmaC.

There are wiring diagrams in the plasma primer. Follow the link in the main documents for master branch.

First check if the torch has separate shielding cup, if it does not it will not work. Well not yet.

Well I have a thermal dynamics sl100 sv machine torch that was on a A120 machine i know they have ohmnic clips for it. So you all say that doing the first method that Phill suggested will work is that manually wiring it like i need to get all the parts together and wire it like the schematic? Or can I use the CanaCNC feather touch as it looks fairly easy to wire up I saw one guy on you tube using that with linuxcnc.
