Bevins, post up your scaling resistor value and I'll look at the divider and I'll do some revised calcs for you.

390K
and I used 24K for the 5 watt pullup.

Please post the calculations you do. I want to know how to do this.

ok the resistor is sized to suit 5 v so need to change it.
From P6 of the manual
R = (VFS - 10V)/100 uA

so lets go for 24.5 volts
R = (24.5-10)/100
= 14.5/100
= 0.145 M Ohms
= 145 K ohms

closest resistor (E24 series) = 147k so lets rework it
0.147 = (V-10)/100
0.147 * 100 = V
14.7 +10 = V
Therefore full scale is 24.7 volts
So the divider ratio = 24.7/10 = 2.47
To check:
2.47 * 10 volts full scale = 24.7

So change the resistor to 147k and change the divider from 4.9 to 2.47

Thanks Rod, you da man......

Just have to check on adjusting thc cause it is not tracking correctly but first get everything in cable tray.

I am getting a weird thing going on. The first time I start linuxcnc the probe works although their is a delay before arc starts but probing is working. After that it doesnt work. once out of 20 times maybe. See video.

The 2nd video is there is a delay before you get the torch coming on. it gets cut start M3 and then linuxcnc waits to send start arc.

Delay before starting:

re the probing, is the blue light on the ohmic power supply on? seems there is no voltage.

Regarding the wait, had the same issue with a build of QTPlasmaC a few days back, waits for exactly 15 seconds. Might have something to do with debounce .....
Updated versions work as advertised.

Tommy was specifically referring to QtPlasmaC.

Development for PlasmaC on the Axis gui has stopped at v.191, so you are on the lastest plasmac. If you are referring to getting QtPlasmaC, you can follow the directions in the docs here: linuxcnc.org/docs/devel/html/plasma/qtplasmac.html

QtPlasmaC is the only supported GUI moving forward. (this was mentioned to you here: forum.linuxcnc.org/38-general-linuxcnc-q...city-question#201657)

This thread: forum.linuxcnc.org/plasmac/37233-plasmac-updates#143119 which is stickied in the plasmac section also tells you the status of all of that.

This thread: forum.linuxcnc.org/plasmac/41883-qtplasmac-release#202319 announced the release of QtPlasmaC and the fact that PlasmaC on Axis or Gmoccapy would not be supported moving forward.
