What widget do you have in mind? There are several in this thread...completely by chance there is no timer version for 2.9? Moved from 2.8 and now does not work. It's very sad...

I did a quick conversion for usage with LinuxCNC 2.9 (Python 3).
But only a very quick one - the setting of the theme is not converted yet
