Well that all seems good so do a g53 g0 z2 and Z should go to home (up 2") then put something about 1/8" thick on the slats and try a Probe Test.

Does it go back up after a while?

Are there any error messages?

Can you post a shot of the Run Panel and the Config Panel?

I just saw your last post, you said it went down 1.5510 and is still 1.0 from the material. That is 2.55 and your travel is only 2.0. That does not compute.

Yes it goes back up and no error messages well maybe not 1 inch but maybe around 1/2 inch to the surface of material.

What worked for me is say you have a 6" long Z axis defined , jog to the topmost position and touch off at 6.00". You should never need to touch off the Z axis again. I have not for over 12 months.

I think you will find it is working, you are probing at 0.1" per minute try 12" or so.

Ok changed it to 12 and did the probe test again and now it started to go slower towards the bottom of the probe but still did not touch material and it went back up.

Do you mean I enter 6 inches on the touch window?
