OK when the machine is at home the DRO is 0.000, is that correct?
Set the jog increment to 1" and jog down 1" and measure that it went 1" then jog up 1" and make sure it got back to where it started.

				If you followed this:
Jog X and Y to their home positions
Jog Z so the torch tip is 2" above the slats
"Home" all the axes
"Touchoff" the Z axis
then Z should be 0 at home position

It doesn’t to be honest I never seen those ever go to 0.000 on any axis cause I manually homed the machine. Is there a way to change this so that all axis got to 0.0000 when I hit the home button?

You need to use the "Touchoff" button to do that.

I am seeing that on the touch button when I hit it it has a window but it says X coordinate? Does it have to say Z?

You need to select the axis you want before you touchoff, click on the axis letter.
