Awesome, we want that! It would then make sense to go to the trouble of getting a USB camera on the gantry then. Just remember its not going to be a plug and play solution for reliable usage.
The video does look cool.
Work to your genius they say and Python programming is definitely not one of mine!
And yes I was not meant to be as busy this stage in life according to the plan. We can only contribute to Linuxcnc what we can achieve.

I haven't read this whole thread, but has anyone mentioned the Datron GUI, especially the edge finding:
Rod, we already have a camera opencv widget with edge detection in QtPyVCP!

Well he could have Rod, but like you he is too busy.

That is just a standard FileView I used for filler.
What I was actually trying to show was the modal dialog implementation that greys out the background window. It has a custom frame so it matches the rest of the UI. It's a lot more work, but a native window border on the modal dialogs would ruin the clean look the the GUI.
Cheers,
Kurt

I didn't know how much effort it took.
I tried qt designer, but not been able to completely grab it.
Thankyou for you time and effort.
Cheers,
Pinder.

Here's a picture of an nc-ish brake that I built a couple of years ago out of 95% repurposed materials. Including the readout, the stepper driven backgauge with adjustable speed, and my tooling, I think I'm into it right around $1,000 USD. I got the electric/hydraulic unit from a shop that was scrapping an old hoist for $40. The cylinder was given to me, 95% of the steel was purchased from someone for $100. The most expensive piece was the casters at $120 USD:) It ends up creating right around 37 tons of pressure. It has worked alright for what I needed it to, but I am planning on importing an 80 ton 1600mm cnc in the next year.

That's a nice looking press brake.
Based on the scale it's about 6" long??
I have seen quite a few homemade press brakes, some very ingenious. We have one customer that bought a 1.6 million automated folder to replace a 60yr old homemade press brake for making stainless food service sinks. Both machines make the same sink tub in the same amount of time, but it takes a lot more skill to make it on the brake.

Just had some time and made circle conversational.
I think I need some help in doing these.
Instructional images is needed?
Preview window should be included with current toolpath?
Buttons?
Don't we need go to zero button?
Moreover, can anyone send some kind of alarm or warning windows example or idea?
