Can you start LinuxCNC from the command line and copy-paste
any errors you get to the forum?

It's pretty hard to guess what "nothing better" means

the hardware is 7i92 + 7i77, when i age the linux cnc configuration it throws out the error i pinned in the pictures and doesn't let me go, when i say nothing better i think nothing has changed in the sense that i have solved the access problem. and I did everything I know. I'm slowly thinking about selling cards and switching to mach3, I'm persistent and optimistic but this is too much :)

What does

mesaflash --device 7i92 --addr 10.10.10.10 --readhmid

report?

The 7i92_7i77_7i74D firmware has a DPLL so the error only makes sense if the wrong firmware is installed

I can post a report tomorrow, I've already tried it as a beginner, it seems ok, but maybe it's not. I'm not in the workshop now. Thank you for your help

setp [HMOT](CARD0).stepgen.timer-number 1
That line seems fuzzy as there are no stepgens used, omit it by putting # in front of it.
Everything else seems OK from a quick glance.

Ahh yes I missed that, need to comment that line out

Not sure if that is a pncconf bug or the wrong pncconf
firmware was chosen

I said that in forum.linuxcnc.org/30-cnc-machines/44700...ofit?start=10#231068

The error shown is on line 26 in the hal file

setp [HMOT](CARD0).dpll.01.timer-us -50
setp [HMOT](CARD0).stepgen.timer-number 1

I don't see the ref [HMOT](CARD0) in the ini file.
So try just try and comment it out with a # like #setp [HMOT](CARD0).stepgen.timer-number 1

To see if it loads
