Good work, Chris
What size touch screens are you working with?
Is the keyboard embeeded when selecting an input area of does it only work from the "launch keyboard" button?

I use a 17" touch screen to test with. I do most of the development on a non touch laptop.
The keyboard launches when you press the 'launch keyboard' button.
The calculator launches when you touch the entry button (Top right )
This could be changed. broader testing will reveal what is needed.
Development will stop shortly for holiday to UK -

Thanks for the continued work Chris.
While you are on holidays I guess I will force myself to do some testing for you
Enjoy your holiday.
Jayson.

Is there a non programers way to run this? I would also like to get this set up. According to the wiki all I need to do is run make a new INI file DISPLAY = gscreen.

thanks guys I'll be around for a couple more days...
tjamscad you must download the 'master' version of linuxcnc. The easiest way is probably the buildbot see here: buildbot.linuxcnc.org/
then you can test Gscreen using the sample configurations they are under sim/gscreen or sim/gscreen_custom (you'll find the list when you start linuxcnc)
If you want to try the exact screen I have been showing pics of the you need download a couple files and add then to the config folder...
I will zip them up .....

here are the custom Gscreen files. unzip the folder and place the _individual_ files in the sim/gscreen_custom folder.
