I would take the motor and drive from the Y axis and put it there, and find something else to put on Y.

Its all easy. Use V 2.8 and read the chapter in the docs titled "homing configuration". Set it up right and the gantry will square on homing and if its not perfect you can set the home offset in your ini file to adjust it

Hi Guys. I just started a new thread about a UXD-P 2000 conversion. tommylight sent me over to this thread. This looks promising for my project. Let me try to do some reading about all those technical terms and come back to you with loads of questions. I'll try to post all the steps I will document in my thread as well. But please go ahead with the discussion and don't wait for me :-).
