I do not have access to an opteron based PC. Can you kindly share what exactly you have done to "The script was modified since old AMD AM2 motherboards report CPU temperature, not Core temperature".

Can you add --show at the end of the latency histogram line, there are some off screen excursions there.

Today, I have made some changes in grub option for my AS-Rock LCNC controller.
GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="quiet isolcpus=1 nohalt irqaffinity=0"
Now, latency seems to be very stable and low. See histogram below.
 

Currently I'm running a lcnc-hw test. I will post results very soon.
