Sorry, wasn't precise enuf.
That's not my machine! That's a foto from the machine I use at work (a tiny mori seiki from the early 90th ).
Just as sample, what I like for my machine in hobbyshop.
... and my machine will not be big enuf to really need a moveable terminal.

How reliable is the USB connection? Does it ever drop out?

on thatt machine why dont you go for a XHC_hb06 handheld it holds all you need for movable terminal
and it is supported

in the context of the discussion it was the only meaning, I got.
If I got you wrong, its ok.
But if you where considering my app as a christmas tree, its completely fine too.

Is this project still ongoing or it was abandoned due to some limitations?
I am an android developer and I would like to write the UI in Compose for Desktop using kotlin. I am interested about the details on how to communicate with the library and also about the gremlin plot.
I really hope you did not hit a bottleneck and that a java based UI would be a feasible solution.
