changing colors wont do any good because that will be under your fingertip and you wont be able to see that.
And trust me I got pretty big hand and fat fingers, there wont be any problem. Moreover, you can get 24inch touchscreen for cheap, and you will be happy for that.

I meant to momentarily change the color of the *whole* control. The yellow background of the numbers might flash green for + and red for -.

what custom buttons you want?

Current plasmac axis and gmoccapy UI's allow for 5 and 4 custom user buttons respectively. In my own case I have a button that runs a series of gcode commands to send my gantry to a defined "parking spot" in a particular manner. I'm sure I'll come up with more for my machine. I have another non-linuxcnc cnc router that uses cnc.js, with it I've got about a dozen custom one click "macros" that I use...

Just a little request.
Make monokrom in capitals
MONOKROM
cheers

To late, i tend to disagree on this as all caps is considered screaming on the internet.
But it has already been decided so i will shut up now ! :)

Now I got you. But staying monochromatic is a challenge, adding more colors is out of bounds. I hope Kurt will be able to add some kind of feedback to let you know that values are changing.

We can surely manage a new tab for that.
But adding those to main screen would be a clutter.
I will add a tab at the bottom for all these misc. things.

Are the cut parameters all HAL pins?

They should be, but not sure, we need to get Phill over here.

I agree Tommy, but the man has done such a nice job with the rest of the GUI, we have to let him have it his way ;)

I did try MonoKrom, which I think looks best and might help people pronounce it correctly...
