Can you give any more info?
halshow loads in qtdragon on my machine.
spindle pause, if paused uses qtdragon code, requires HAL pins to be connected.

I have it like this.

The halshow problem is unrelated to qtvcp.
There was some work to halshow pushed that broke it in some situations.
I believe it was fixed, but maybe not in installed versions.
You use an installed version, not a compiled version of linuxcnc?

linuxcnc is installed from the official image. Then 2.8 was removed and using synaptic installed linuxcnc 2.9 which is updated from buidboot.

Thank you so much, hal show is opening. But woodpecker doesn't work. The first screenshot is a regular version. Modified opens but  an error when the spindle is paused. When I prescribe Q hal I get an error like in the third screenshot. Please tell me how to fix. Previously, all this worked until 01/24/22.

Well I have to do a lot of guessing but:

First image error looks to be caused maybe when you press an action button?
looks like you are using the python command option. What was the command string?

Next image says you are trying to make a new HAL pin with the same name as an existing pin.
They seem to be probe related pin. Do you have two probe screens included or otherwise are creating pins with the same name?

Sorry I confused you. I ask questions one by one. Why doesn't the interface that comes with linuxcnc 2.9.0-pre0-5854 open. Error on the first screenshot and on the attached one now. Thanks!

Ok I fixed the 'nonetype error' in master. Sorry it took so long.

Thank you! The interface opens but the dialog box does not close. After several clicks, it gives an error. If possible, please fix it. Thank you!
